TASTING NOTES: Peach, Caramel, and Raw Sugar 

This lot has been carefully cultivate by the Dias family in Brazil's Mogiana Valley. The Dias family have been perfecting the craft of coffee cultivation since the 1890's. Now into their 4th generation, the family continues on the traditions of quality and sustainability. 

The Dias family farm were one of the first to bring the Bourbon varietal to the Mogiana Valley. Bourbon coffee is known and savoured around the world for its full body, low acidity, layered deep aromas, and an extremely smooth finish; from an espresso shot to a delightful pour over. The higher altitude, warm sun, and rich volcanic soil that defines the Mogiana Valley are prime conditions for yielding coffee of stunning quality.

The farm more closely resembles a village as a close knit community of 47 families work, live, and play here. Housing, healthcare, recreation, and religious gatherings are all provided by the family farm. In addition, the Dias family operate a local school providing free education and meals to over 700 students in the Mogiano Valley.
